Our
Curriculum

FSB offers a British curriculum, languages, and enrichment in a caring environment.

Our Curriculum

At Future Steps International School, we are committed to providing a well-rounded, enriching education that prepares our students for a successful future. Our educational journey begins in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), where we follow a child-centred, play-based curriculum that builds confidence, resilience, and a joy for learning. This lays the essential groundwork for a successful primary school experience.

Our primary school follows the renowned British curriculum, a gold standard educational framework known for its thoroughness and robustness. At FSB, we designed our curriculum to nurture the whole child, fostering their academic, social, and personal development.

Through activity-based learning, we teach subjects and languages in an engaging and effective approach that emphasizes hands-on experiences and real-life communication.

Instead of relying solely on textbooks or rote memorization, learners participate in interactive tasks such as role-plays, games, group discussions, storytelling, and project work. These activities not only make the learning process more enjoyable but also help students develop practical skills, boost their confidence, and engage in their everyday learning.

For example, our math class focuses on Maths Mastery, a teaching methodology that emphasises conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and the mastery of key mathematical skills through real math situations and examples. This approach helps our students develop a strong foundation in numeracy, preparing them for the challenges in advanced education.

Activity-based Learning

A Caring, Supportive Environment

Underpinning our curriculum is a commitment to creating a caring, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our vision of empowering confident, caring individuals is woven throughout all aspects of school life.
